Obama plans to sign legislation that would make abortion a constitutional right. He promised Planned Parenthood it would be the first legislation he signs. Please see the below info, act on it and send it on. We really don't want to see this enacted. Thanks! Dear Pro-Life Friend,

Thank you for signing the FOCA Petition! "The Freedom of Choice Act" is dangerous legislation and it must be exposed.

Please help us expose FOCA by asking your friends to sign the Fight FOCA Petition. You can use the wording below to send an email to them.

Thanks again,

AUL Action
http://www.AULAction.org/

******* Forward this Message *******

Dear Friend,

I'm writing to let you know about a terrible piece of legislation called "The Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA).

FOCA would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right (like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on abortion nationwide.

It will eradicate state and federal abortion laws that the majority of Americans support and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future.

Please read the expert analysis by Americans United for Life (AUL) and sign the Fight FOCA petition at:
http://www.FightFOCA.com

Thank you!skathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07249564759399168039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-10123650218766246972008-11-08T23:46:00.000+00:002008-11-08T23:46:00.000+00:00I would like to thank Hugh Hewitt for the link to ...I would like to thank Hugh Hewitt for the link to this site. I am glad to see that other conservatives want to fix the GOP. The Republican Party has become the "White Party". The people in this "tent" don't really look like America. I know we are the party of a color-blind, non-discriminating by race party; however, due to demographics, I am sorry but a party with 90% of its votes from whites has no future in America!! Rush joked about having MSM send foreign correspondents to Kansas to find out why people vote the way they do. Well, we need foreign correspondence in the urban centers. The GOP should be hitting issues that affect these citizens. The party that freed the slaves, opposed linchings, segregation, for civil rights, and the voting rights act gets 4% of the black vote. That is inexcusable! So if we are to be a serious party, we have to have outreach and incorporate African Americans into our tent!! Anyway, I loved the post!!civilian4lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14539507335418858042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-9934511124582412362008-11-08T21:38:00.000+00:002008-11-08T21:38:00.000+00:00I would like to thank Hugh Hewitt for the link to ...I would like to thank Hugh Hewitt for the link to this site. We've lost 50 seats in the last two elections! John Boehner is a good man but the wrong face for the Republican Party. I called Paul Ryan http://www.house.gov/ryan/welcome.htm and asked him to run for leader. I also called Steve LaTourette, my rep., and asked him to nominate Ryan. Finally, I called Boehner and asked him to step down.
I don't agree with your comment about Huckabee. Let's see now... how would we like someone who believes in COMPLETELY eliminating all income, corporate, payroll, social security and capital gains taxes? Thinks our defense budget should be at the level it was under Reagan? Thinks we should have a Life and Marriage amendment to the constitution? Is a lifetime member of the NRA? Would appoint strict constructionist judges? Sounds amazingly conservative doesn't it? And along with all those hard core beliefs has 10 years experience as a Governor, is very winsome, a great speaker and a great debater? This is Mike Huckabee.billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13234011618301676679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-86565215228141316672008-11-08T03:47:00.000+00:002008-11-08T03:47:00.000+00:00Seamus, Our position to date has been "we'...Seamus,

Our position to date has been "we'll do the same stuff as the liberals, but less of it" That's a loser strategy.

The basic “product discriminator” between ourselves & our opposition needs to be: We put our faith in freedom; they put their trust in control. Freedom works; control-freak gov’t does not.

We get message across by telling a story, grounded in reality not drifting among the clouds of emotional rhetoric:

The 1st half of the 20th century was scarred by the most destructive wars in human history; the 2nd half was lived in the shadow of the most destructive weapons the human imagination could conceive. These struggles were undertaken to answer one question: which are stronger, societies based on control or those based on freedom? The smart money was all on the control-freaks - fascists, socialists, communists of the Leninist & Maoist varieties. But when the smoke cleared & the dust settled, it was Lady Liberty standing victorious.

We hold that this happened because societies are organic, not mechanical. Liberty unleashes that power; government's machinery of control strangles it. The organization of society must respect humans & human nature. Our nature is to be free.

We hold that government's proper place is at the boundaries of society. There it can provide for the common defense of our union, create an arena of justice & domestic tranquility within which we enjoy life & liberty, pursue our happiness & promote the general welfare for ourselves & future generations of Americans.

And so forth. Back to fundamentatals. When a team's been given a pants-down spanking, that's what they go to work on - their fundamentals. No more "Democrat-lite".

Regards,Jeffersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17159439920044598330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-18931143444285210242008-11-07T06:42:00.000+00:002008-11-07T06:42:00.000+00:00Well, this sucks. Identifying some strong presidential candidates and vetting should begin now also for 2012.Ashenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08522929143987058780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-70444858383517120952008-11-07T05:55:00.000+00:002008-11-07T05:55:00.000+00:00I imagine there will be plenty of efforts like the...I imagine there will be plenty of efforts like these to rebuild a strong, new Conservative face forward. It would be great if someone could dedicated time to merging efforts (whatever that would look like) to avoid divided attempts at rebuilding a divided party. Specially if these kinds of amazing efforts aren't going to spawn out of the RNC itself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-11196530558874336112008-11-07T02:34:00.000+00:002008-11-07T02:34:00.000+00:00I feel better already.I feel better already.chill1019https://www.blogger.com/profile/13712776602006927397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5590691438330936371.post-46187638293289408472008-11-07T00:21:00.000+00:002008-11-07T00:21:00.000+00:00I am so glad to see more Conservatives rising to t...I am so glad to see more Conservatives rising to the challenge. I see the next few years as an opportunity for MAJOR public relations overhaul. We are not the rich, intolerant, old man, religious fanatic, gay-bashing, WHITE, KKK loving crazies. This is how many see our Party, and this has to STOP! Joe the Plummer and Sarah Palin were great starts to a PR overhaul.ERNielsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03154293697436704801noreply@blogger.com
